Patrick’s Fun Evening
Last night Patrick got to come out and play with Colin and some toys. He got to meet Bear - who was very interested in his food!
He spent a while pushing this toy lamb around the desk until it fell off.
Still hasn’t figured out what to do with the mealworm.
Patrick’s New House
I finally got to drill the holes and connect Patrick’s two sterilite bins for his big house. I used some PVC pipe and male & female connectors to join them through the holes. I drilled the holes using a 4.5″ Hole Saw. Later I plan on cutting out the center of the lids and adding hardware cloth to improve the ventilation. The final cage will be decorated to look like a castle with cardboard towers, windows (hardware cloth) and a drawbridge as the PVC connector.
And here he is with his new teddy bear
Introducing Sir Patrick
Meet my new hedgehog: Sir Patrick Pinnsvin of Igel - aka Patrick. He is a Chocolate Pinto, with lovely blue eyes. He’s very outgoing, and LOVES his wheel.
He’s on a diet of Wellness cat food. I tried him on a mealworm and a piece of lettuce and he wasn’t interested in either. Hopefully I will find some more bugs and stuff he will like.
I’m making him a castle from sterilite bins, more on that later! But for now this is his home

Here is his pinto spot, he has a white spot on either side. The rest of his quills are white banded with chocolate and a few plain white
